Personal-CM Blog Circle-May-Beautiful Ugly--Northeastern NC Photographer

You know that saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...I kept hearing that over and over again in my head while thinking about this challenge. What I may thing is you may be the most beautiful thing in the world. To me...The more rusty...old...torn and worn down something is... the COOLER it is. This goes hand in hand with scouting locations for sessions. When you are done taking a peak at my take on Beautiful/Ugly...Click on over to JoAnna's page and follow the blog circle around. We've added new ladies to our group and I'm looking forward to getting to know them!

One of my favorite ally's in town has all of the above.... so most of these pictures were taken there.

Every week when I showcase a local boutique's clothing...I see this little guy in the window next door. I always look forward to seeing him. He totally fits into the beautiful ugly category.

We went on a 2nd grade field trip to the VA. Aquarium and I couldn't help but think about these two animals being perfect for the beautiful ugly theme.

AND....My most favorite favorite favorite Rainbow sandals. They are UGLY and tore the heck up... but to me they are BEAUTIFUL. They symbolize comfort... and I'm not getting rid of them. Ever.

  1. Wow! You've captured such great texture, color and character in your 'urban' shots. I especially like the b/w wheel thing. But my favorite is the photo of your shoes. I can feel the love you have for them!

  2. ove it! I love rust and old things! I almost added a jellyfish as well! great job this month!
